The role offers competitive compensation, direct hire placement, and the chance to work with cutting-edge technology including PLC systems and industrial robotics.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform complex mechanical and electrical maintenance on manufacturing equipment and plant facilitiesDiagnose mechanical, electrical/electronic, hydraulic and combustion malfunctionsNavigate and interpret ladder logic in SLC 500, PLC 5, and Control Logix software for troubleshootingModify positions and diagnose problems on ABB robots (Models M94, M98, M2000, M2600, M6700)Install, move, and align new and existing equipment with precisionOperate various machine shop equipment with accuracy and efficiencyPerform gas and electric welding operationsDraw, polish, and grind die cavity surfaces using specialized toolsComplete maintenance records and maintain organized work areasExecute preventive and proactive maintenance tasksRequirementsExperience:Minimum 4 years of related experience in Allen Bradley systems, Hydraulics, Robotics, and WeldingProficiency troubleshooting die casting machine cells through PLC's and electrical/hydraulic schematicsUp to 2 years specialized die repair experience preferredEducation:Associate's Degree, trade/technical school, or journeyman certificate preferredEquivalent experience with up to 2 years on-the-job training consideredTechnical Skills:Advanced welding capabilities (MIG, TIG, spot welding)Blueprint reading and technical drawing interpretationPrecision measurement using micrometers and calipersCAD software proficiency for component analysis
