Summary

Key Responsibilities
Project Manager I
- Coordinates internal resources and vendors for the flawless execution of projects, including leading interdepartmental teams to complete assigned projects on time, to specifications, and with accuracy and efficiency.
- Coordinates, organizes and leads project meetings with participants and stakeholders, including managing progress of project(s) and adapting work as needed.
- Participates in the development of project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
- Develops a detailed project plan to track progress, including outlining the tasks involved in the project and delegating work appropriately.
- Oversees incoming and outgoing project documentation and provides detailed reports for executive review.
- Measures project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques.
- Participates in project design, submission and review.
- Optimizes efficiencies in all processes
- Addresses questions, concerns, and/or complaints throughout the project.
- Acts as a liaison between company, customers, and vendors.
- Ensures compliance with federal, state, local, industry, contractual, and company regulations, standards, specifications, and best practices.
- Keep abreast of all new services offered in order to keep up-to-date
- Maintain appropriate, professional working relationships with clients and other employees
- Identify and coordinate system/program/process enhancements to best serve the client’s needs
- Other duties and projects as assigned
In addition to the above responsibilities, the Project Manager II will be responsible for:
- Conducting cost analysis, estimating expected costs for the project.
- Preparing and implementing a budget based on estimates.
- Conducting risk assessments; reporting identified risks to management; providing recommendations for mitigation of risk (including termination of the project if appropriate).
- Overseeing the development of project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
Project Manager I
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related field with a project management focus.
- At least 2 years of project management experience.
- Basic understanding of databases, data files, and MS Windows.
- Entry-level role with assigned work, requiring some mentoring and guidance.
- Strong initiative and critical-thinking skills.
- Project Management certification or Six Sigma Green Belt preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of project management experience at OSC or comparable organization.
- Intermediate-level role with the ability to manage larger, more complex projects.
- Strong understanding of databases, data files, and MS Windows environments.
- Demonstrated ability to set goals, meet deadlines, and take operational responsibility.
- May provide guidance or supervision to less experienced project managers.
- Project Management certification or Six Sigma Black Belt strongly preferred.
