Senior Sales Development Representative - Rapidly Growing Series A Cybersecurity IAM Vendor
About the Role:
We are seeking a driven and ambitious Senior Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join this companies rapidly growing team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, is passionate about technology, and is eager to make a measurable impact on pipeline growth. You’ll be on the front lines of their go-to-market efforts, engaging with prospects, identifying new business opportunities, and working closely with the sales and marketing teams to accelerate revenue.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proactively identify, engage, and qualify new business opportunities through outbound prospecting and inbound lead follow-up.
- Develop and maintain a strong understanding of our solutions, target markets, and competitive landscape.
- Conduct high-quality discovery conversations with prospects to uncover challenges, pain points, and opportunities.
- Partner with Account Executives to create a seamless handoff of qualified leads and ensure alignment on territory planning.
- Consistently meet and exceed monthly and quarterly activity and pipeline generation targets.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date activity and opportunity data in CRM.
- Contribute to process improvements, best practices, and mentoring of junior SDRs.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an SDR or BDR at a software, SaaS, or cybersecurity vendor (cybersecurity experience strongly preferred).
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding pipeline generation targets.
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal) with the ability to engage senior-level stakeholders.
- Proficiency with sales tools such as Salesforce, HubSpot, Outreach, SalesLoft, or similar.
- Highly motivated, self-starter attitude with a proactive approach to learning and execution.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-growing environment.
