A well-established, boutique family law firm in Westfield, New Jersey is seeking a talented and motivated Family Law Associate Attorney to join their growing team. This firm has built a strong reputation as one of New Jersey's premier family law practices. As a Family Law Associate, you will manage a diverse caseload of family law matters from inception through resolution.
Responsibilities
- Handle all phases of family law matters including divorce, high-net-worth divorce, alimony, child custody, child support, and domestic relations
- Appear in court for hearings, conferences, and trials
- Draft and review pleadings, motions, agreements, and correspondence
- Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda
- Participate in mediation and alternative dispute resolution proceedings
- Communicate directly with clients, providing strategic counsel and compassionate guidance
Qualifications
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- Active New Jersey Bar admission (required)
- 2–5 years of family law experience strongly preferred
- Strong litigation and courtroom skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Ability to manage a demanding caseload with professionalism and attention to detail

Compensation
The annual salary for this position is between $100,000 – $150,000. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
