The Role
As a Senior Managing Partner, you will own and grow a defined portfolio of government clients within the State of California — operating as a trusted advisor at the highest executive levels while delivering complex, multi-stakeholder technology strategy engagements.
You will advise on both long-horizon strategic priorities and near-term tactical challenges, partnering with Technical Expert Partners and internal delivery teams to bring the firm's best capabilities to bear. This is a high-impact, high-visibility role for a seasoned consultant who can sell, lead, and deliver at the intersection of government and enterprise technology.
What You'll Bring
- Management consulting pedigree from a well-regarded firm, with demonstrated experience in both project delivery and business development
- Direct experience with State of California government agencies — such as Health & Human Services, Transportation, Pension Administration, or Public Safety — strongly preferred
- Technical fluency across multiple enterprise IT domains; prior experience as a solution/technical architect or senior analyst a plus
- Consistent track record of achieving or exceeding revenue targets in a client-facing role
- Proven ability to build and lead high-performing consulting teams that leverage technology to drive mission-critical outcomes
- Executive presence — ability to influence and build trust-based relationships with C-suite and senior government leaders
- Intellectual curiosity and creative problem-solving skills; able to adapt established frameworks to complex client challenges
- MBA or advanced degree preferred
