Electrical Engineer
Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to support the design, development, testing, and implementation of electrical and electro-mechanical systems. The ideal candidate will work closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams to develop new products and improve existing systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Design electrical control and power systems, including VFDs.
- Develop electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, wire harnesses, and wire lists.
- Perform 2D electrical CAD design using tools such as AutoCAD.
- Collaborate with mechanical engineers on 3D electrical enclosure layouts.
- Select electrical components and support panel wiring activities.
- Work with analog and digital electrical circuits and components.
- Develop and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs).
- Manage engineering revisions using PDM/PLM systems.
- Work with communication protocols including RS232, RS422, RS485, CAN, and Ethernet.
- Provide technical guidance to designers and technicians.
- Support engineering projects and help identify and mitigate technical risks.
- Follow established engineering, quality, and project-management processes.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- 3–5 years of relevant electrical engineering experience.
- Experience with electrical system design and AutoCAD.
- Knowledge of electrical circuits, components, and panel wiring.
- Experience with PLM/PDM systems.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Engineering or FE certification.
- Experience with SolidWorks and SolidWorks EPDM.
- Familiarity with SAP or other ERP systems.
- Experience with PCB design.
- Knowledge of engineering project-management tools.
- Experience working with RS232/RS422/RS485, CAN, and Ethernet communication systems.
