Job Description
An established behavioral health organization with a strong background in substance use disorder treatment is seeking a Clinical Supervisor to support the development and licensing of a new Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) in New Mexico.
This role is structured initially as a consulting / part-time position focused on program setup, compliance, and licensing requirements. The position offers the opportunity to scale into a larger or full-time leadership role as the program launches and grows.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the designated Clinical Supervisor for the IOP program in accordance with New Mexico regulations
- Provide clinical oversight and ensure compliance with state and Medicaid requirements
- Review and approve clinical documentation, including treatment plans as required
- Support development of program structure, policies, and procedures
- Provide guidance on clinical programming and best practices for IOP services
- Be available for clinical consultation and supervision as needed
- Assist with program readiness and ongoing quality assurance
Minimum Qualifications (Required by State of New Mexico)
- Independently licensed in New Mexico (LCSW, LPCC, LMFT, or equivalent)
- Eligible to serve as an RLD Board-Approved Clinical Supervisor
- Minimum two (2) years of relevant experience with an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) or ability to obtain an approved exception
- Demonstrated expertise in both:
- Mental health treatment
- Substance use disorder (SUD) treatment
- Ability to conduct supervision in accordance with applicable licensing board regulations

Schedule
- Initial commitment: ~5–10 hours per week (flexible)
