Job Description
RLD Associates, Inc. has an opening for a part-time, 1099, home-based premium auditor. Travel is required.
As a premium auditor, you will work independently in the field, meeting with various businesses to conduct insurance premium audits. The purpose of a premium audit is to review accounting records and conduct a thorough interview to validate the assignment of the insured’s business type and the associated premium.
In this position, you will be responsible for Hot Springs area. Travel can be expected 1 to 2 days per week and include a radius of 60-75 miles.
NOTE - Pay is 1099 and based on a billable hour structure, with only productive time considered billable.

Job Description
RLD Associates, Inc. has an opening for a part-time, 1099, home-based premium auditor. Travel is required.
As a premium auditor, you will work independently in the field, meeting with various businesses to conduct insurance premium audits. The purpose of a premium audit is to review accounting records and conduct a thorough interview to validate the assignment of the insured’s business type and the associated premium.

The Right Person For This Role Will
- Review audit requests
- Prioritize inventory and schedule workload
- Make contact with the named insured to schedule an audit appointment
- Travel to the appointment location
- Conduct on-site interviews of business activities and write an effective description of operations. Examine the insured’s payroll and sales records and compare them to tax reports to determine if correct.
- Prepare written audit reports that include data analysis, calculations and classifications
- Ability to work independently
- Must be dependable and self-motivated
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong computer skills, proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Pleasant, yet professional personality
- Two-year degree in accounting or related subject is preferred. Experience in bookkeeping and payroll preparation considered, as well as commercial insurance expertise
- Reliable transportation and compatible laptop computer
- Excellent training program provided by RLD University
- Flexible schedule
- Supported by experienced territory managers
- Pay is competitive with industry and is based on experience and location. This is a production-based position.
