A well-established and growing law firm in Los Angeles is seeking a Defense Litigation Attorney with experience in employment law and/or education law. This is an excellent opportunity for a litigation professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is looking to take ownership of meaningful, high-impact cases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of defense litigation matters from inception through resolution
- Handle all phases of litigation, including pleadings, discovery, depositions, motions, and trial preparation
- Represent employers, school districts, and/or educational institutions in complex legal matters
- Draft and argue dispositive motions and attend court appearances
- Provide strategic legal advice to clients and maintain strong client relationships
Qualifications:
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- Active license to practice law in California
- 3 years of litigation experience, with a focus on employment law and/or education law preferred
- Strong writing, analytical, and oral advocacy skills
- Deposition and motion practice experience required; trial experience is a plus
- Ability to manage multiple matters independently in a deadline-driven environment

Compensation:
- Full-time
- Salary range: $215,000-$275,000 annually performance bonuses(Factors that may affect pay within this range include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.)
