We are partnering with a prominent litigation and defense law firm based in Birmingham, Alabama, known for deep legal roots, extensive trial experience, and recognized medical malpractice defense capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Manage civil litigation matters from inception through resolution.
- Conduct legal research and prepare case strategy recommendations.
- Handle depositions, mediations, hearings, and court appearances.
- Develop case strategy and provide practical, business-focused legal advice.
- Draft and review pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery, and other legal documents.
- Conduct and defend depositions, hearings, mediations, and other proceedings.
Qualifications
- Active Alabama Bar license in good standing
- Experience in any practice whether it is plaintiff or defense but must be open to do a defense practice (insurance defense/ medmal/ medical malpractice/ product liability/ civil litigation/ defense litigation/personal injury/ mass tort)
Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is between $100,000 – $135,000 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
