A well-established and growing plaintiff-side personal injury firm in Miami is seeking a driven Personal Injury Attorney to join its litigation team. The firm represents injured individuals in a wide range of matters and is looking for someone who is comfortable managing cases and advocating aggressively on behalf of clients.
Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of plaintiff-side personal injury matters from inception through resolution
- Conduct legal research, draft motions, pleadings, and discovery
- Take and defend depositions
- Negotiate settlements with insurance carriers and defense counsel
- Prepare cases for mediation, arbitration, and trial
- Maintain consistent communication with clients regarding case progress
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
- Active Florida Bar license required
- Judicial clerkship experience required
- 3 years of plaintiff personal injury litigation experience preferred
- Experience with depositions, motion practice, and case strategy
- Strong writing, negotiation, and courtroom advocacy skills
- Ability to manage multiple cases in a fast-paced litigation environment
Compensation
- Full-time
- Salary range: $150,000 - $215,000 annually performance bonuses
