What are the responsibilities and job description for the Real Estate Media Contractor position at Steady Focus Media LLC?
We're looking to bring on an experienced real estate media contractor to help cover shoots in the area. This isn’t a beginner role — I need someone who already knows how to walk into a property and get it done right without a ton of hand-holding.
What the work looks like:
- Shooting listing photos (interior/exterior)
- Occasional video walkthroughs (gimbal work)
- Drone photo/video when needed
- Working directly with agents/homeowners on-site
What you need:
- Real estate photography experience (not just general photography)
- Your own gear (full-frame camera, wide lens "12-24mm", tripod, flashes, gimbal, etc.)
- A valid FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate
- Reliable transportation — you’ll be traveling around SE PA & parts of NJ
- Ability to work independently and stay on schedule
Schedule:
Flexible overall, but you need daytime availability during the week. Some weeks are busier than others.

- You can move efficiently through a shoot
- You don’t need to be micromanaged
Pay:
Per job, based on experience and what you can handle (photo, video, drone, etc.)
