About SteadiCare Home Care

SteadiCare Home Care is a growing non-medical in-home care agency based in Greenwood, South Carolina. We provide personal care, ADL support, companionship, respite care, dementia support, supervision, and related in-home assistance that helps clients remain safe and supported at home.


Position Summary

The Care Coordinator / Scheduler is the operational hub of daily service delivery at SteadiCare. This person is responsible for building and maintaining caregiver schedules, responding to call-offs and coverage gaps, matching caregivers to clients, supporting continuity of service, following up on EVV issues, and keeping day-to-day operations moving smoothly.

This is a non-clinical operations role. It does not include nursing assessments or clinical care planning.

Administrator / RN Client Services Director


Schedule

Full-time, in-office role based in Greenwood, South Carolina. Standard office hours are Monday through Friday, with some after-hours and weekend phone coverage as needed to support service continuity.


Key Responsibilities

  • Build, update, and manage caregiver schedules for new and existing client cases.
  • Respond quickly to call-offs, late arrivals, no-shows, and other staffing disruptions.
  • Coordinate open shift coverage across weekdays, evenings, weekends, overnights, and holidays as needed.
  • Match caregivers to clients based on availability, skills, personality fit, service needs, and geography.
  • Maintain continuity of service and communicate clearly with clients, families, and caregivers regarding schedule changes.
  • Monitor EVV activity and documentation follow-up using agency systems, including exception review and timely correction.
  • Track approved service hours, authorizations, and utilization patterns as applicable to each case.
  • Escalate changes in client condition, safety concerns, incidents, or care-related questions to the Administrator / RN Client Services Director.
  • Coordinate closely with the Office Administrator / Intake & Recruiting Coordinator on start-of-care readiness, onboarding timing, and staffing pipeline needs.
  • Maintain accurate scheduling notes, call logs, staffing updates, and service coordination records.
  • Support after-hours coverage processes and participate in the agency’s on-call or phone coverage rotation, if assigned.
  • Help identify scheduling trends, recurring call-off patterns, and process improvements that strengthen service reliability.


Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or additional administrative training preferred.
  • At least 2 years of experience in home care scheduling, care coordination, staffing, dispatch, client services, or a similar fast-paced operations role strongly preferred.
  • Prior experience in non-medical home care, home health, hospice, Medicaid-facing community services, or another service-based scheduling environment preferred.
  • Strong phone communication, organization, follow-through, and problem-solving skills.
  • Comfort using scheduling, CRM, and EVV systems; experience with AxisCare, Authenticare, or similar platforms is a plus.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities at once while remaining calm, professional, and solution-focused.
  • Strong judgment with clear understanding of when to solve an operations issue independently and when to escalate.
  • Reliable attendance and willingness to help protect service coverage outside normal office hours when required.
  • Professional communication style with caregivers, clients, families, referral sources, and internal leadership.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive client and employee information appropriately.
