Professional Practice Specialist – Nursing Administration – Full Time
Ste. Genevieve County Memorial Hospital is a Critical Access Hospital, stand-alone, not-for-profit hospital located in Ste. Genevieve, MO, that focuses on personalized care. What To Expect As a Professional Practice Specialist
- Responsible for overseeing education, clinical competency, professional practice standards, and direct clinical support within the hospital.
- Promote excellence in patient care through staff development, evidence-based practice, regulatory readiness, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
- Maintain an active clinical presence and may provide direct bedside nursing care as needed to support staffing and operational needs.
- Serve as a resource, mentor, educator, and clinical leader for nursing staff across all departments while supporting organizational quality and patient safety initiatives.
- Current Missouri RN license.
- AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS CPR certification required.
- AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS Instructor certification (or with in 9 months of hire)
- Completion of DHSS Approved Clinical Supervisor Course (or with in 6 months of hire)
- Master's degree in nursing education preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of Supervisory and Nursing experience
