Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Hotel Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of our hotel, ensuring that guests have a comfortable and enjoyable stay. This position requires a strong commitment to hospitality and an ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain guest rooms, hallways, and public areas to ensure high standards of cleanliness.
- Perform housekeeping duties such as dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Change bed linens and towels, restock room supplies, and ensure all amenities are replenished.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
- Assist with laundry services as needed, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens.
- Follow established procedures for cleaning rooms and handling chemicals safely.
- Collaborate with other housekeeping staff to ensure timely completion of tasks.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of hospitality standards and practices.
- Experience in custodial or industrial cleaning preferred.
- Familiarity with housekeeping management techniques is a plus.
- Ability to perform floor care tasks such as sweeping, mopping, and carpet cleaning.
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on delivering high-quality service.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
