Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various cleaning environments, including commercial, residential, and industrial settings. This role is essential in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across facilities, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for all occupants.
Duties
- Perform routine cleaning tasks in assigned areas, including offices, restrooms, hallways, and common areas.
- Execute floor care duties such as sweeping, mopping, buffing, and vacuuming to maintain high cleanliness standards.
- Conduct thorough janitorial and custodial tasks to ensure all surfaces are sanitized and well-kept.
- Assist with facilities maintenance by reporting any repairs or maintenance needs to the appropriate personnel.
- Carry out residential painting as needed to enhance the appearance of properties.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment; notify management when supplies are low.
- Follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
Requirements
- Proven experience in cleaning roles such as janitorial or custodial positions is preferred.
- Familiarity with floor care techniques and equipment is essential.
- Experience in commercial cleaning or industrial cleaning environments is a plus.
- Knowledge of facilities maintenance practices is beneficial.
- Porter experience is an advantage for maintaining cleanliness in public areas.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within designated timeframes.
