Responsibilities

• Assist the General Manager in overseeing all store functions, including sales, inventory control, and customer service.
• Lead and supervise staff to ensure high standards of employee orientation, training & development, and team management.
• Manage daily shift operations, including cashiering, POS transactions, cash handling, and store opening/closing procedures.
• Coordinate recruiting efforts by participating in interviewing candidates and onboarding new employees.
• Oversee inventory management tasks such as stock replenishment, merchandising, pricing strategies, and inventory audits.
• Ensure compliance with company policies on payroll processing, bookkeeping, budgeting, and store safety protocols.
• Foster a positive work environment through effective communication skills and leadership that motivates the team to excel.

Skills

• Proven experience in retail management or assistant manager roles with supervising responsibilities.
• Strong negotiation skills coupled with excellent communication abilities to engage staff and customers effectively.
• Multilingual or bilingual skills are highly valued for serving diverse customer bases.
• Expertise in retail math, sales management, merchandising, and inventory control techniques.
• Proficiency with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and retail software applications.
• Ability to manage time efficiently while balancing multiple priorities such as marketing initiatives and store operations.
• Demonstrated leadership in training & development programs and team-building activities. KHC POLICIES: Responsible for following all KHC policies and procedures as set forth in the KHC handbook KHC Front Desk Procedures Manual, and property specific guidelines/standards. These policies include dress code, safety and performance standards. Employees must also maintain a professional image and report to work as scheduled.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Directly supervises 1-15 employees in the Front Desk. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; monitoring work performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
