Job Overview

We are seeking an energetic and welcoming Breakfast Host to create a vibrant and memorable start to our guests’ mornings. As the first point of contact during breakfast hours, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, ensuring a clean and inviting dining environment, and assisting with food presentation and service. Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival, creating a friendly and inviting atmosphere for breakfast service
• Assist with food preparation, presentation, and replenishment of breakfast items to ensure freshness and quality
• Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, tables, and buffet stations according to food safety sanitizing procedures
• Serve food and beverages efficiently while adhering to proper food handling and safety standards
• Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for processing cash transactions and managing orders
• Support with setup and breakdown of breakfast service stations, including manual handling of supplies and equipment
• Follow food safety management protocols diligently to uphold hygiene standards and prevent contamination
• Assist with dietary accommodations by understanding dietary restrictions and communicating effectively with kitchen staff
• Ensure compliance with all food safety regulations, including sanitizing kitchen equipment and workspaces regularly
• Collaborate with team members to deliver seamless in-person customer service that exceeds guest expectations

Skills

• Prior experience in fine dining or hospitality environments is highly desirable
• Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and food handling procedures
• Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately
• Knowledge of wine pairing or wine knowledge is a plus but not required
• Experience in banquet or catering settings is advantageous
• Familiarity with POS systems for order processing and payments
• Ability to handle weight in the workplace safely during setup or cleaning tasks
• Understanding of food safety protocols, including sanitizing procedures and food safety management systems
• Previous restaurant or culinary experience that demonstrates adaptability in fast-paced environments
