We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our team full time. The Laundry Attendant is responsible for washing, drying, folding, sorting, and distributing linens, uniforms, and other laundry items while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization. This role requires the ability to operate laundry equipment safely, follow established procedures, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Sort, wash, dry, and fold laundry according to hotel standards
• Operate laundry equipment such as washers, dryers, and ironing machines
• Inspect linens for stains or damages and report any issues to the supervisor
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the laundry area
• Ensure proper handling and storage of linens and supplies
• Assist with inventory management and restocking of laundry supplies
• Assist housekeepers with removing dirty linen from rooms when needed.
• Restocking housekeeping storages as needed.

Skills:

- Experience in hotel laundry operations is preferred
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques for different fabrics and materials
- Ability to operate industrial laundry equipment safely and efficiently
- Attention to detail to ensure high-quality results
- Strong time management skills to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of floor care and custodial duties is a plus
- Excellent communication and customer service skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
