Responsibilities
- Manage all front desk activities, including check-in/check-out procedures, reservations, and guest inquiries using property management systems (PMS) such as OPERA or similar platforms.
- Lead and train front desk staff on hospitality management best practices, phone etiquette, multi-line phone systems, and customer service problem-solving techniques.
- Ensure adherence to hotel emergency procedures and safety protocols to guarantee guest and staff safety at all times.
- Oversee guest services, including handling special requests, resolving complaints promptly, and maintaining high levels of guest satisfaction.
- Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to ensure smooth daily operations and timely resolution of issues.
- Supervise night audit processes to verify financial transactions and prepare reports for management review.
- Utilize multilingual skills to communicate effectively with diverse guests, enhancing overall client communication and relations.
Experience
- Proven experience in hospitality management or hotel front desk operations within a resort or hotel environment.
- Strong knowledge of property management systems (PMS), especially OPERA or comparable platforms.
- Demonstrated ability to lead a team in a fast-paced hospitality setting while maintaining excellent customer service standards.
- Familiarity with hotel emergency procedures, guest relations strategies, and hospitality reservation systems.
- Bilingual or multilingual capabilities are highly desirable to serve an international clientele effectively.
- Experience handling night audit responsibilities and managing multi-line phone systems is preferred.
