About the Role
We are seeking a polished, reliable, and personable Event Support Staff member to assist during private events at a luxury vacation rental property in Livermore Valley wine country. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hospitality, is detail-oriented, and can provide a warm, professional presence for guests.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet guests upon arrival and provide a welcoming, professional first impression
- Assist with parking coordination and ensure smooth traffic flow on the property
- Support general guest management throughout the event
- Guide guests to key amenities (restrooms, outdoor spaces, etc.)
- Monitor and count guest attendance as needed
- Provide light event support to hosts and vendors during the event
- Help maintain cleanliness and organization of common areas
- Assist with event wrap-up, including light cleanup and ensuring the property is left in good order
Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Friendly, professional demeanor with a hospitality-focused mindset
- Ability to take initiative and remain attentive throughout the event
- Comfortable working outdoors and on your feet for extended periods
- Reliable transportation and punctuality required
- Prior experience in events, hospitality, or customer service preferred but not required
Schedule & Compensation
- 4–6 hour shifts per event
- Approximately 1–2 events per month
- Events take place between 10:00 AM and 10:00 PM, including evenings and weekends
- Competitive hourly rate based on experience
