Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Aesthetic Nurse to join our dynamic team. As an Aesthetic Nurse, you will be responsible for administering cosmetic treatments, educating patients about procedures, and ensuring their comfort throughout the process. Duties
- Administer botulinum toxin treatments and dermal fillers to enhance patients' aesthetic appearance.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and consultations to determine appropriate treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Provide education on post-treatment care and potential side effects to patients.
- Monitor patients during procedures, ensuring their safety and comfort at all times.
- Utilize EMR systems for efficient patient management and documentation.
- Stay updated on the latest trends and techniques in aesthetic medicine.
Qualifications
- Valid nursing license with relevant experience in aesthetic nursing or related fields.
- Proficiency in using EMR/EHR systems such as Epic, Cerner, Athenahealth, or eClinicalWorks.
- Experience with critical care, acute care, or emergency medicine is preferred.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and pharmacology.
- Familiarity with procedures such as IV infusion, suturing, venipuncture, and airway management.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations including those with developmental disabilities or in senior care settings.
- Experience in outpatient settings such as urgent care or ambulatory surgery centers is a plus.
