Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS, ensuring clear communication with kitchen staff
- Serve food, beverages, cocktails, and spirits efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and safety
- Upsell menu items including wines, specialty drinks, and desserts to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
- Process cash and credit transactions accurately, handle cash handling responsibilities, and manage sales transactions seamlessly with POS systems like OpenTable
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all service areas, including food handling and beverage service stations
- Foster positive guest relations by addressing inquiries promptly, resolving issues professionally, and ensuring a memorable dining experience
Qualifications
- Previous food service experience in a restaurant or food industry setting is highly preferred
- Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable for order processing and sales management
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while multitasking efficiently
- Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service techniques
- Experience with food safety protocols, sanitation standards, and basic math for cash handling and transaction processing
- Culinary or kitchen experience is a plus for understanding food preparation processes
- Nightclub or fine dining experience is advantageous for adapting to diverse service styles
