Parking Enforcement Officer: Staunton Police Department
Join a leading accredited law enforcement agency and make a difference in a thriving community. The City of Staunton Police Department is seeking candidates for a Part-Time, Parking Enforcement Officer position.
This position is responsible for the following functions/tasks:
- Enforces metered parking, customer pick-up, loading, handicapped, fire lane, no-parking zone, and other parking regulations through regular, routine foot patrol activities;
- Issues tickets for violations of parking regulations;
- Provides directions and routine parking information to the public and;
- Maintains appropriate records.
Any combination of education and experience equivalent to graduation from high school and some work experience in the application of policies and procedures.
Starting hourly rate: $16.54. This is a part-time position with no benefits. This position is OPEN Until Filled.
