Duties
- Assist with landscape maintenance tasks
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment like excavators and skid steers safely and efficiently for various landscaping projects
- Installation of hardscape features such as boulder and retaining walls, and other structures
- Conduct tree care activities including trimming, pruning, and planting to maintain safety and aesthetics
- Support snow plowing operations during winter months to keep pathways clear and safe for all users
Requirements
- Basic mechanical knowledge and familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in landscaping and construction
- Experience with lawn care, landscape maintenance, gardening or horticulture preferred but not required
- Ability to operate equipment such as skid steers, dump trucks, excavators or snow plows is a plus
- Knowledge of tree care practices including trimming and planting techniques
- Strong work ethic with the ability to follow safety procedures diligently
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions throughout the year
- Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment
