Overview
We are seeking a professional and personable Front Desk Clerk to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for guests, providing exceptional guest services and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. This role requires excellent communication skills, a friendly demeanor, and the ability to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently. Prior experience in hotel management or hospitality is preferred, but willing to train the right individuals. The Front Desk Clerk plays a vital role in guest relations, reservations, and overall hotel operations.
Duties
- Greet guests upon arrival and provide a warm, welcoming experience
- Check guests in and out efficiently using hotel management software
- Manage multi-line phone systems and respond promptly to guest inquiries
- Handle reservations, cancellations, and modifications accurately
- Provide information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and services
- Assist with guest requests and resolve issues promptly to ensure guest satisfaction
- Maintain accurate guest records and billing information
- Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to ensure smooth operations
- Uphold phone etiquette standards and professional communication at all times
- Support night audit procedures as needed for accurate financial reporting
Skills
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional attitude
- Experience in hospitality management or hotel front desk operations preferred
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities to assist diverse guests are highly desirable
- Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette and handling multi-line phone systems
- Knowledge of hotel management software and reservation systems
- Ability to manage guest relations effectively and handle guest complaints diplomatically
- Familiarity with resort or hotel environments is advantageous
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work flexible hours, including night shifts if required

We are in hiring to fill 2 positions. The first position would be for 2 morning and 2 afternoon shifts per week. The second position would be 3- 10 hour days on 3rd shift. Starting at 10pm and ending at 8am.
Pay: From $16.00 per hour
