Head Bartender

Job Summary

As the Head Bartender at the Stateside Vodka Bar, you’ll lead the bar team while crafting high‑quality cocktails, delivering an exceptional guest experience, and helping bring the Stateside brand to life in a fast‑paced, welcoming environment. This role blends hands‑on bartending with key supervisory duties to ensure smooth daily operations and consistent service standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide an exceptional, engaging experience for all guests at the bar.
• Prepare and serve cocktails and beverages with accuracy, consistency, and attention to presentation.
• Perform and oversee daily bar prep, including batching, juicing, and ingredient preparation.
• Oversee bar opening and closing procedures and ensure compliance with health, safety, and alcohol service standards.
• Assistin developing and executing seasonal cocktail menus 3–4 times per year.
• Monitor and maintain inventory of liquor, mixers, supplies, and bar tools; place and receive vendor orders.
• Train and support bar staff on cocktail builds, service expectations, and Toast POS usage.
• Lead distillery tours and provide an engaging, informative brand experience for guests.
• Proactively handle guest issues with professionalism and represent the Stateside brand with pride.
• Process guest orders and payments accurately using the Toast POS system.
• Adhere to all alcohol service laws and responsible beverage practices.
  
  

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of bartending experience, bar management experience is a plus.
• Willingness and ability to work nights and weekends.
• Valid alcohol service certification (as required by state/local law).
• Familiarity with POS systems and basic computer use.
• Military experience is a plus.
  
  

Compensation

• $13-$15 USD per hour plus tips.
