The Grange Lodge are hiring a Kitchen Porter
The role : Keeps the kitchen clean,organized and running efficiently.
Key Responsibilties
- Washing dishes, pots,pans,utensils and kitchen equipment.
- Keeping kitchen work areas clean and sanitized
- Sweeping and mopping floors
- Emptying bins and managing waste disposal
- Receiving and storing deliveries of food and supplies
- Assisting chefs with basic food preperation tasks when required
- Ensuring cleaning equipment and chemicals are used safely
- Following food hygiene and health & safety regulations
- Helping maintain stock rooms and storage areas in an organized manner
- Supporting the kitchen team during busy service periods.
- Ability to work in a fast paced enviroment
- Strong attention to cleanliness and hygiene
- Reliability and punctuality
- Teamwork and willingness to assist others
- Good organizational skills
