What are the responsibilities and job description for the Facility Operations Assistant 1 (Utilities) position at State University of New York at Plattsburgh?
The Central Heating Plant maintains all heating, air conditioning, hot water, ventilation, and refrigeration services as well as overseeing the proper functioning of all elevators on campus. We also answer after hours calls and provide service, as needed, and are a 24/7 operation. We are part of the Administration & Finance division which provides essential services to our campus, local, state, federal and international customers. We are responsible for human, physical, financial and technical resources. As professionals, we navigate systems in a collaborative and sensitive way to assist the university in achieving its educational mission. The shift for this position will be discussed during the interview process and determined at time of offer.
