Automotive Technology Instructor
Days - Monday - Friday; On-Site
State Technical College of Missouri has an opening for a full-time Automotive Technology Instructor to begin in July 2023 (Fall Semester). This is a full-time, 9-month annual contract, exempt, and benefit-eligible instructor position.
Required Qualifications: Five years automotive technician work experience. ASE Certification in Automotive Technology. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and computer skills.
Preferred Qualification: ASE Master Certification in Automotive Technology. Expertise in engine mechanical, engine performance/drivability, and engine/chassis dyno tuning. Teaching and/or training experience.
Job Responsibilities: This position would instruct and develop courses that may include the following topics: engine mechanical, engine performance/drivability, performance tuning using engine dyno and chassis dyno. Additional responsibilities include student recruitment, advisement, college service and student advising.
