Responsibilities
- Safely load and unload furniture, boxes, and equipment using proper lifting techniques and tools such as dollies, pallet jacks, or forklifts when necessary
- Assist customers with packing, wrapping, and securing items to prevent damage during transit
- Operate commercial vehicles such as box trucks or
drivers to transport belongings between locations - Load and unload trucks efficiently while maintaining organization of items for quick delivery or pickup
- Follow designated routes for delivery or pickup, ensuring timely arrivals and departures
- Maintain a clean, safe workspace during loading/unloading activities and report any safety hazards immediately
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients, answering questions, and addressing concerns professionally
Qualifications
- Prior experience in moving, warehouse work, or delivery driving is highly preferred
- Demonstrated ability to lift heavy objects repeatedly and safely throughout shifts
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience operating box trucks or
drivers is a plus - Familiarity with warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and manual transmission vehicles is beneficial
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in fast-paced environments
- Ability to follow safety protocols rigorously and work collaboratively with team members
- Physical stamina to perform manual lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
