What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mover/Helper position at Glaser & Sons Mooving?
Glaser & Sons Mooving is a Residential/Commercial moving company that has served The Upstate of South Carolina for 30 years. We are a veteran and family owned and operated company that prides itself on honest work and our customers referrals.
We are looking for help Monday-Friday from 8:15 am until the job is done for the day. This consits of moving furniture from one house or office to another. There are stairs involved most days. Applicant must be willing to learn how to move furniture to ensure they are not hurt and that the customers belongings are safe.
Pay is every Friday. We try to be accomodating for family appointments as we understand that comes first. After 3 months you will be up for a raise and after a year you get one week paid vacation.
Job Description: Loading and unloading our moving truck consisting of household goods or office furniture. Using tools daily. Staying off your phone unless you are on break. Making sure all items are back on the truck like dollies, pads folded, tools, straps, ramps etc.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $17.00 per hour
