Job Summary
Come join our kitchen team at State Pizza in Forest Acres. We are looking for a part-time pizza maker to assist on Friday & Saturday nights during our busy hours (4:00pm - 8:00/9:00pm each night). This is a great opportunity for a high school or college student looking to make some extra cash! In this role, you will be responsible for crafting our delicious, high-quality pizzas in our Carryout & Delivery only concept. No prep or closing duties required. Just show up, make pizzas, have fun, and you'll be out in time to enjoy the rest of your night!
Duties
- Prepare and assemble a variety of pizzas according to established recipes and customer specifications, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, mixers, and slicing tools safely and efficiently.
- Maintain strict food safety and sanitizing procedures to uphold cleanliness and hygiene standards across all work areas.
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients, ensuring freshness and proper storage practices are followed.
- Collaborate with team members to meet high-volume production goals while maintaining attention to detail.
Qualifications
- Experience preferred, but not required. Great first job!
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment efficiently and safely under pressure.
- Excellent teamwork skills combined with a passion for delivering exceptional food service experiences.
Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 8.0 – 15.0 per week
