Minimum Qualifications
Desired Qualifications:
Training: Associate degree from an accredited college or university with nine (9) semester hours of computer science/Information technology.
OR
Substitution: High school diploma or the equivalent.
AND
completion of certificate.
OR
Experience: Two (2) years of full-time or equivalent part-time paid experience in information, telecommunication, or wireless technology, and/or information related fields.

Requirements for this position include but are not limited to:
- A valid driver’s license or a valid state ID and dependable transportation are required.
- Travel to various State Agencies to perform work and maintain accurate mileage records.
- Regular attendance is an essential part of this position.
- Office of Technology Service Desk Trainee. Under general supervision, in a training capacity, performs full life cycle support for customer facing technologies via phone, on site or remote tools in a complex multi-agency environment.
- This does include personal computer devices (both desktops and laptops), peripherals, printers (both standalone and networked), communication devices, associated operating systems which includes Microsoft Windows 10 and Windows 11, software applications (Google, Microsoft, and agency specific), devices supported include smartphones, VoIP phones, iPads, tablets and laptops and other technical devices.
- Excellent customer support skills are a requirement of this position.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
