Requirements for this position include but are not limited to:
Training: Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited four-year college or university in computer science, computer information systems, information technology, computer engineering, electronics, network engineering or closely related field, OR, graduation from a standard high school or the equivalent, plus two WV Office of Technology approved information technology certifications.
Experience: Two years of full-time or equivalent part-time paid experience installing, supporting and troubleshooting computer hardware, software and/or network connectivity.
NOTE: Acceptable information technology certifications include CompTIA's A or Network Microsoft Certification, any Cisco certification or any Help Desk Institute Certification.

- A valid driver’s license and dependable transportation are required.
- Travel to various State Agencies to perform work.
- Maintain accurate mileage records.
- You must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Providing excellent customer service is a priority.
- Regular attendance is an essential part of this position.
- Image, install, and troubleshoot computer systems for various State Agencies which may include Department of Corrections Facilities and/or State Hospitals.
- Use an ITSM (IT Service Management) tool to accept assignment of incidents and tasks and update the ITSM daily, recording all work performed and resolving incidents or tasks, when completed.
- Assist in agency moves.
- Participate in large agency - wide computer, peripheral, and software upgrades.
- Actively participate in Google Chat Spaces for Client Services Field Staff and your assigned region.
- Assist the service desk answering calls on a rotating schedule.
- ** Placed on a rotating call out schedule ** (Kanawha County Only).
- Performs other duties as assigned.
