Nature of Work
The Office of Nutrition Services (ONS) Operations Division Director performs complex administrative work in planning, managing, policy development, direction, coordination and operation of the business operations and grant management components of all ONS funding streams. Oversees distribution and reporting of resources statewide to implement programs and direct services through sub-recipient grantees. Serves as a member of the ONS leadership team in planning, evaluation, and quality improvement, ensuring application of best and science-based practices, performance improvement principles, and effective use and analysis of data to strengthen business operations. Holds signature authority in the ONS Directors absence. Monitors and oversees the budget to ensure fiscal processes comply with the agency, state and federal policies, funder requirements, and accountability systems.

Minimum Qualifications
Training: Master's degree from an accredited college or university in the area of assignment.
Substitution: One year of full-time or equivalent part-time paid experience as described below may substitute for the Master's degree.
Experience: Four years of full-time or equivalent part-time paid professional experience in the area of assignment, two years of which must have been in a program administration capacity.
Substitution: Post-graduate training in the area of assignment may substitute through an established formula for the non-supervisory experience.
