This position serves as a business analyst for the People's Access to Help (PATH) system using knowledge of policies and procedures developed by Department of Human Services (DoHS) management staff. This position is critical for oversight and coordination of social services, including ensuring data quality; and ensuring that Federal and State program requirements are met by software systems. This position requires the ability to analyze system data, determine the impact of proposed system and/or data changes, analyze and test new software functionality, review and/or complete technical mapping and requirements documentation, provide consultation and assistance to system users and other staff, and assist in developing functional requirements. This position participates in meetings with agency staff and vendors to design, develop, and implement system functionality into the PATH system. Provides support for Medicaid eligibility of children in Foster Care, MDM data stewardship, case data compilation for litigation requests, Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests, Legislative audits, and testing of Federal, and/or State reports/data extracts. Evaluates and analyzes data for accuracy and submits data corrections as needed. Trains agency staff and fellow coworkers as required.

Minimum Qualifications
Training: Bachelor's Degree from a regionally accredited four-year college or university.
Substitution: Additional experience as described below may be substituted for the required training on a year-for-year basis.
Experience: Four years full-time, equivalent part-time paid or volunteer experience in a technical or program area that is related to the area of employment.
Substitution: Post-graduate education in a field related to the technical or program area may be substituted for the required experience on the basis of fifteen semester hours for one year of experience.
Other Information
Three (3) years of full-time or equivalent part-time paid experience in the Health and Human Resources series may substitute for the required training and experience.
