IT Systems Developer III

The Agency of Digital Services has an exciting opportunity for an IT Developer to join our Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Technical Services Group. We are looking for the right candidate to join our talented and high-performing team. As the State initiates efforts to modernize services into the Workday platform, this is a unique opportunity to contribute to both legacy system support and the modernization of our ERP capabilities.

The ideal candidate will bring expertise in Commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) ERP development, troubleshooting, integration and data migration. The candidate will also be a team player who will value input from others and respectfully offer their contribution; have strong technical and functional communication and collaboration skills; create effective documentation and have a willingness to adapt to change.

Work is performed in a standard office setting and there is considerable interaction with users and members of project teams requiring some tact and diplomacy to balance competing views. Work outside of regular work schedule can be anticipated.

Bachelor's degree in computer science AND two (2) or more years of experience in computer or network support, programming or analysis, or database administration.

OR

Associate's degree in computer science or college-level coursework that includes 15 computer science credits AND four (4) or more years of experience in computer or network support, programming or analysis, or database administration.

OR

Six (6) or more years of experience in computer or network support, programming or analysis, or database administration.

• Experience supporting Commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) applications, such as Peoplesoft, Workday or SAP.
• Proficiency with technical application support related to Financial or Human Resource functions, such as: Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Application Security and Permissions, Benefits, Budgeting, General Ledger, Payroll, Procurement, Time & Labor, Travel & Expense.
• Experience with proprietary Object-Oriented programming in an ERP environment.
• Experience with relational databases (tables, views, queries, complex SQL/T-SQL and stored procedures)'
• ETL experience dealing with relational databases (API and flat file sources)
