Job Description
As the Office Specialist II, you may monitor jail caseloads, track sentencing to open cases and check in offenders. This position may consist of entering O-Track information, opening and closing cases, assisting probation and parole offenders with reporting information and questions, and coordinating information with the courts and jails. Data entry is extensive and accuracy is essential.

This position may consist of entering O-Track information, opening and closing cases, assisting probation and parole offenders with reporting information and questions, and coordinating information with the courts and jails. Data entry is extensive and accuracy is essential.
Principle Duties
Use your customer skills to assist and greet the public and perform a variety of clerical support duties such as:
- Entering and retrieving data from agency databases (Court X-change, O-Track, UDOCA).
- Reviewing data, records, and files for detail and accuracy.
- Providing authorized agencies with information.
- Providing basic and accurate information in-person and via email.
- Maintaining a high level of confidentiality and discretion.
- Running rap sheets.
- Preparing and generating Probation and Parole documents.
- Opening, maintaining and updating investigation files and other records.
- Ordering County Attorney and Police reports.
- Ordering files from Archives.
- Assisting with SONAR / CAOR Registry.
- Uploading files into UDOCA.
- Assisting with front desk duties as assigned (per rotation).
- Other duties as assigned.
Preferred or trainable/on-the-job qualifications:
- Has at least 1-year of experience working in a professional office environment.
- Has strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Has the ability to manage their own time.
- Has the ability to handle numerous interruptions and changing deadlines while remaining on track to complete tasks.
- Is a highly organized self-starter, with the ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks and deadlines for numerous people.
- Works independently with little or no supervision.
- Displays exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Has proficiency in computer programs.
- Has hands-on experience with office equipment.
- Displays professional attitude and appearance.
- Has the ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Has the ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise.
- Has the ability to work with different groups of people.
- Has excellent organizational skills.

- The hourly rate for this position $19.90 (non-negotiable).
- Current UDC employees' hourly rates will be based on the promotional policy.
- Hiring officials may identify additional related skills and requirements as preferences in making hiring and promotional decision. Only the most qualified applicants will be asked to attend an oral interview.
