The Department of Environmental Quality is looking to fill two Environmental Program Coordinator positions in the Division of Waste Management & Radiation Control.
Key Responsibilities
- Incumbents in this position combine specific environmental program knowledge with advanced administrative skills to complete tasks involving the verification, entry, and manipulation of scientific data.
- Responsibilities include data gathering, as well as reviewing and implementing internal procedural policies. Additionally, assignments involve completing various tasks associated with environmental program management.
Minimum Qualifications
- Ability to interpret and apply state, and federal environmental regulations.
- Proficient in preparing compliance reports and monitoring data in software.
- Capable of managing project deadlines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Understanding environmental programs and program coordination.
- Understanding of local, state, and federal environmental laws (EPA, NRC) and permitting processes.
- Proficient with environmental data management tracking.
