Qualifications
Education and Experience: Graduation from an accredited college or university with a master's degree in public health or graduation from an accredited college or university with a master's degree in healthcare administration, business administration, public administration, community health, or health and medical statistics, and two years of professional work experience in the field of public health.

Overview
The incumbent will serve as the Regional Project & Communications Coordinator who will provide high-level support to the leadership of the regional office. Develop a working knowledge of all public health programs through the analysis of program requirements and protocols, related productivity data and direct observation and experience. The employee will combine academic knowledge of population based public health with hands on public health experience to appropriately assess the strengths and weaknesses of various programs and activities and ascertain their potential on population health. The employee will be expected to complete additional training in performance management concepts to advise management regarding program analysis and overall program effectiveness as well as training to develop and enhance leadership skills.
Responsibilities

- Public Health program analysis and coordination of considerable difficulty
- Perform research for grant opportunities and write grants as directed for organization
- Work with management to establish goals that are S.M.A.R.T
- Coordinate the staff and patient satisfaction survey processes
- Prepare reports
- Trains in Quality Improvement standards and assists QI Director on occasional audits, and develops new and innovative means of measuring progress and achieving higher standards
