The Tennessee Department of Finance & Administration is seeking a creative, dependable college student to join its Learning & Development team. This paid, remote internship offers hands-on experience supporting employee training, developing learning materials, assisting with virtual and in-person sessions, and exploring instructional design, adult learning, technology, and AI. Previous professional training experience is not required. Relevant coursework, presentations, class projects, tutoring, mentoring, leadership, volunteer work, or other experiences that demonstrate communication and collaboration skills are welcome.

Schedule: Part-time, approximately 5-15 hours per week
Compensation: $20 per hour

- Currently enrolled in a Tennessee college or university in education, instructional design, human resources, communications, business, psychology, technology, or a related field.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Basic experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.
- Ability to learn new technology and complete assignments accurately and on time.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a professional environment.
- Experience or knowledge with Canva, Learning Management Systems, Articulate 360/Rise, video editing, Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, other AI tools, or virtual training platforms is helpful but not required.
