• Oversee the administrative operation of the team.
• Provide clinical oversight of services ensuring patients are seen in accordance with their needs and the delivery of best and ethical practices.
• Provide direct services to ACT (Assertive Community Treatment) service beneficiaries.
• Ensure all services are documented in accordance with BHDD/QA requirements.
• Provide direct supervision to ACT team members to include, but not limited to, facilitating clinical supervisor meetings, treatment team meetings, coordination training for team and completing evaluations.
• Maintain a department commitment to cultural affairs and guarantees all direct reports have a cultural affairs component to his or her EPMS (Employee Performance Management System) planning document as a measurable objective.
• Compile with Corporate Compliance Policy and Risk Management Plan and certifies completion of prior authorizations.
• Pursue professional development through collegial consultation, continuing education and licensure.
• Must be able to present clear and comprehensive oral and written reports to co-workers and others.

Minimum and Additional Requirements

• A master's degree in guidance, counseling or the social sciences or a related field, and professional experience in a mental health, human service or social services programs.
• Three years' experience working with adults diagnosed with serious and persistent mental illness and a minimum of two years post graduate experience.
• Supervisory experience is required in a mental health setting.
• Must be a licensed psychologist, LISW-CP, LPC or LMFT with the state of South Carolina.

• Must be able to meet OMH credentialing requirements which include specific graduate course work including Psychopathology Course, Psychopathology Diagnostic Course, Clinical Assessment – Practice with Family Therapy (DSM) – or any related assessment course and Ethics Course – related to medical profession.
• Must be able to show evidence of clinical experience providing direct patient care. This experience maybe documented as practicum, internship or post-graduate experience.
• Ability to lift up to five (5) pounds, ability to see, hear at a normal volume, stand, walk, bend, stoop and climb at least two (2) flights of stairs.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bilingual abilities in English and Spanish (or another language) are a plus.

• Be able to use a state vehicle for work related purposes.
• Have practical therapeutic knowledge of principles, methods, and counseling practices/procedures for the diagnosis and treatment of serious and persistent mental illness.
• Ability to listen, understand and communicate information and ides so that others will understand.
• Knowledge of psychopathology, family dynamics and family/group psychotherapy.
• Must be able to identify and effectively utilize resources available in the community to accomplish objectives.
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with individuals, families and representatives of other professional disciplines.
• High degree of working independently and being self-motivated is expected.
