This position reports to the Integrity Director within the Unemployment Insurance (UI) Division in Columbia. UI operates a statewide program, encompassing employer tax liability determination, collections, records maintenance, and the processing, payment, and recovery of unemployment benefit claims. The UI Program Field Services Manager will be responsible for managing and directing the field service activities of the UI program, ensuring the program operates efficiently and effectively. The selected individual must have a strong understanding of the program’s operation, ability to achieve established goals and measures, and ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders to enhance service delivery and meet the mission of the agency.

Education and Experience
A bachelor's degree in a related field, such as accounting, and at least five years of experience with auditing, account documenting and interviewing.
Preferred Qualifications
Strong leadership skills, effective management of budget resources, projects, and timelines to achieve agency goals, and experience in managing a team of auditors/investigators.

Key Responsibilities
The UI Program Field Services Manager will:
- Responsible for recruiting, hiring, training, developing, evaluating, and managing staff engaged in providing UI program services.
- Responsible for human resource management activities for assigned personnel including development and training, timely completion of EPMS forms, coaching and feedback on activities and performance.
- Directs the compliance review of South Carolina employer tax liability and account maintenance to ensure employer compliance in accordance with federal/state statutes and reporting requirements.
- Recommends the development and dissemination of policies and procedures (SOPs) for the administration of UI Integrity program.
- Demonstrates and applies relevant and appropriate knowledge, trade craft, and leadership competency to achieve division objectives and initiatives.
