Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree or certificate in Nuclear Medicine Technology Current certification by both the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) and the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, Nuclear Medicine (ARRT [N]) Active licensure/credentialing as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (as required by state and institution) Minimum of one (1) year post-graduate, full-time experience as a practicing Nuclear Medicine Technologist Demonstrated ability to provide clinical instruction and effective communication with students and faculty
Graduate of a Nuclear Medicine Technology Program Three (3) or more years of professional experience in Nuclear Medicine Technology Prior teaching, precepting, or mentoring experience in a clinical or academic setting Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to coach, evaluate, and encourage student learning Familiarity with JRCNMT standards, ARRT and NMTCB competency requirements, and clinical education best practices
