Academic and Career Advisor (Two Vacancies) (Temporary)

Academic and Career Advisors support an assigned caseload of newly admitted students, students in their first semester of enrollment, and continuing students with career advising, academic plan development, registration assistance, and academic strategy development aimed at student success, persistence, retention, progression, and completion. The positions maintains 30 hours of advising availability per week, participates in on-going training provided by the Center and assigned academic department(s), facilitates early interventions, and regularly uses available technologies to ensure accurate and effective advising. Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including a possible work schedule beyond regular operating hours. Must be able to travel between MTC campuses as needed.
