The duties that the incumbent of the vacancy will be expected to perform. Duties Description Repair and maintain buildings and other structures. Operate and complete routine maintenance on various pieces of construction equipment. Supervise and assign jobs for crews and oversee the work being done by contractors. Purchase supplies and materials in accordance with Department policy and procedures. Complete daily reports. Operate and transport heavy equipment. Must have a CDL Class A Drivers License or obtain one within 12 months of appointment.
The minimum qualifications required for this vacancy. Minimum Qualifications Four years of full-time experience in a trade under a skilled tradesperson which would provide training equivalent to that given in a training, apprenticeship, or equivalent program; or an equivalent combination of experience and training gained by completion of technical courses in skilled trades at a school, institute, or branch of the Armed Services. Must obtain a Class A CDL within 12 months of appointment with appropriate endorsements and no air brake restriction.
