The Office Support Clerk will:
Provide specialized high-level clerical support to the Department (CASA Scanning center) multiple agencies in our mail room.
How does it get done?
The Office Support Clerk is responsible for:
Data Entry and record keeping and other computer software (Aspen, Perceptive Content, MAVRO);
Linking documents using perceptive content;
Picking up mail from the post office;
Live mail: Sort and doc prep, mail count, scanning into data base;
Return mail: Sort and doc prep and scanning into data base;
Photocopies as needed;
Prepare Outgoing mail as needed;
Mentoring and training other clerical support staff as needed;
Adherence to policies and procedures, and federal time frames;
Complete all blackboards and required trainings;
Other office duties as needed.
Who are the customers?
Income Support Division (ISD) customers;
ISD field office management and staff.
Ideal Candidate
Income Support Division (ISD) customers;
ISD field office management and staff.
Minimum Qualification
No prior experience or training required.
Employment Requirements
Must possess and maintain a valid Driver's License.
Must obtain a Defensive Driving Certificate.
Working Conditions
Work is performed in an office setting with exposure to Visual/Video Display Terminal (VDT) and extensive personal computer and phone usage. Some sitting, standing, bending, and reaching may be required. Direct client interaction and some travel may be required.
