This position is part of the Northwest Region Public Health Division within the NMDOH.
Why does the job exist?
To provide high quality administrative support and perform a range of general office/clerical tasks and assist with the implementation of various policies and procedures.
How does it get done?
Minor bookkeeping duties, maintaining calendars, schedules and coordinate appointments, client support, meetings, training, facilities and other activities.
Who are the customers?
External customers: Clinic clients Internal Customers: All NMDOH Staff
Ideal Candidate

Minimum Qualification
Eighth grade education.
Employment Requirements
Must possess and maintain a valid Driver's License. Must possess and maintain a current Defensive Driving Course Certificate from the State of New Mexico or must pass and receive Defensive Driving Course Certification within six (6) months of date of hire as a condition of continued employment.
Working Conditions
Office setting; exposure to visual/video display terminal extensive computer and telephone usage; extended periods of sitting at the computer: outdoor settings as needed. Regular travel between offices and for training is required. Ability to lift 25lbs
