SSS Houses At-Risk Intervention Response Bureau, Black Education, Hispanic Education; Safe and Healthy Schools Bureau; Student Success and Wellness; and Title I: Student, School and Family Support Bureau. Leadership and oversight of all state and federal education acts also lives under the SSS umbrella.
Why does the job exist?

Supports the planning, development, implementation, and continuous improvement of Educational Plans and at-risk programming initiatives. This position is responsible for coordinating program operations, monitoring program effectiveness, maintaining data and reporting systems, developing policies and training materials, and supporting advocacy efforts to ensure efficient, targeted, and measurable services and outcomes for students and stakeholders.
How does it get done?

Program Planning and Implementation
Support the planning, development, implementation, and evaluation of Educational Plans and at-risk programming initiatives to ensure effective, targeted, and measurable services and outcomes.
Program Coordination and Logistics
Coordinate and organize logistical activities, including meetings, trainings, communications, scheduling, and daily program operations related to Educational Plans and at-risk programming.
Program Monitoring and Compliance
Monitor program activities, performance measures, and compliance requirements; prepare reports and recommend corrective actions or program improvements as needed.
Data Management and Reporting
Collect, track, maintain, and analyze program data for statistical analysis, reporting, program evaluation, and continuous improvement efforts.
Policy Development and Training Materials
Develop and update operating manuals, policies, procedures, training materials, brochures, and informational/marketing resources for varied audiences.
Advocacy and Stakeholder Engagement
Provide program advocacy, presentations, testimony, and liaison support with legislative, regulatory, funding, and community organizations concerning Educational Plans and at-risk programming.

PED Bureaus/Divisions, school districts, charter schools, and legislative committees.

Minimum Qualification

Associate's Degree and three (3) years of experience in program administration or project management in areas related to the purpose of the position. Any combination of education and/or direct experience in this occupation totaling five (5) years may substitute for the required education and experience.
Employment Requirements

Must possess and maintain a valid New Mexico's Driver's License.
Working Conditions

Work is performed in an office setting with exposure to Visual/Video Display Terminal (VDT) and extensive personal computer and phone usage. Some sitting, standing, bending and reaching may be required. Some occasional travel is required for meetings and conferences.
